The Champions Trophy 2025 trophy trip officially started today, November 16, from Islamabad, as per the schedule released by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Famous Pakistani bowler Shoaib Akhtar will travel with the trophy as it travels across Pakistan before going on an international tour in this eagerly awaited event.
Details of the Pakistan Round
The trophy’s journey in Pakistan starts when it is shown in famous sites in Islamabad, such as the Pakistan Memorial, Daman-e-Koh, and Faisal Mosque. The trophy will visit several cities and towns over the next few days:
- November 17: Taxila and Khanpur
- November 18: Abbottabad
- November 19: Murree
- November 20: Nathia Gali
- November 22 to 25: Karachi
Before the trophy starts its international tour, the Pakistani portion will end in Karachi.
Details of the International Tour
The Champion’s Trophy 2025 trophy starts its long international tour in Afghanistan on the 26th of November after its stay in Pakistan. The trip includes stops in each of the member countries:
- November 26-28: Afghanistan
- December 10-13: Bangladesh
- December 15-22: South Africa
- December 25-January 5: Australia
- January 6-11: New Zealand
- January 12-14: England
- January 15-26: India
Before returning to Pakistan, the host nation and reigning champion, for the tournament’s start on January 27, the tour will finish in India.
